The American Psychiatric Association is our voice in the nation’s capital. We work with our elected representatives, federal agencies, and national groups like NAMI to achieve fair access to quality care for our patients, fair treatment for our profession, and to promote a healthy society.
SCPS
The Southern California Psychiatric Society is our voice in local and state mental health systems. We ensure access to essential mental health services. We engage psychiatric residents and faculty in the broader psychiatric community and ensure a proper professional environment for psychiatrists who work in public and private organized systems of care.
Consider SCPS your invitation to continued professional excellence. Annual scientific symposia, annual psychopharmacology meeting, and regional /committee-sponsored meetings keep you up-to-date on developments in the field. Your membership ensures that in a rapidly changing health care environment, you and your profession survive.
Your concurrent membership in the Southern California Psychiatric Society (SCPS), and the American Psychiatric Association (APA), ensures that your professional interests and those of your patients are represented at the local, state, and national levels.
SCPS – DUES STRUCTURE (ANNUAL)
- Resident-Fellow Member – $100.00 (1st Year’s Dues are Waived for PGY1, PGY2, PGY3)
- First Year Post Residency – $228.00
- Second Year Post Residency – $457.00
- Full Dues – $685.00
