Saturday, March 4th at 9:00AM via Zoom
The Diversity and Culture Committee in collaboration with the Disaster Relief Committee brings an interactive session on “War, Trauma, and Bias”. In this session, Drs. Ijadi-Maghsoodi, Niazi, Haidar, and Khan will discuss the impact of armed conflict and war on identity development. They will highlight through personal narratives and lived experiences the role of bias in how we respond to international crises. The conscious and unconscious processes that shape our perception of who is seen as a victim will be explored.
