Government Affairs Committee
The CSAP Government Affairs Committee (GAC) and Board met last night. The GAC recommended, and the Board concurred on the following actions:
-CSAP will join the CMA and others to file an amicus to uphold the longstanding prohibition against non-physicians’ use of the term ‘doctor.’
-CSAP will send a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Becerra on requirements related to the federal Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act.
